I’ve been building prone- boards or what some call belly-boards, since 2010. The “T-Belly” it’s now in its 7th generation of development (TBG7). I use primarily EPS/Epoxy construction and a stringerless blank. Fin configuration can be twin-fin, quad-fin or five-fin. These boards are faster than the common soft-foam body boards, and have tremendous hold. Each T-Belly is custom-fit to the rider’s height and weight, using my proprietary formula. The TBG7 can be ordered in E-cloth, S-Cloth or Carbon Fiber.
I’m the only shaper on the West Coast that actually rides prone-boards regularly. I know what works and what doesn’t.
