I’ve been building prone- boards or what some call belly-boards, for almost 6 years now. The “T-Belly” it’s now in its 4th generation of development (TBG4). I use primarily EPS/Epoxy construction and a stringerless blank. Fin configuration can be twin-fin, quad-fin or five-fin. These boards are faster than the common soft-foam body boards, and have tremendous hold. Each T-Belly is custom-fit to the rider’s height and weight, using my proprietary formula. The TBG4 can be ordered in E-cloth, S-Cloth or Carbon Fiber.
New for 2016 is the Manta, a prone-board designed for riding larger waves. The Manta has a multi-plane bottom and offers speed and flowing turns. Like it cousin the TBG4, the Manta is stringerless, EPS/Epoxy construction. The Manta should be ordered 4″ longer than the G4, with about 20% more volume. The Manta is available in carbon fiber only.
